Our Founder

Founder Gary S. Maier is an investor relations veteran with nearly twenty years of industry experience. He was a principal of PondelWilkinson Group, an independent Los Angeles-based investor relations and corporate communications firm, which was acquired by MS&L in 2001. Maier joined the predecessor firm, Pondel Parsons & Wilkinson in 1993, as senior vice president and was subsequently promoted to managing director and then principal. His career includes positions with Hill & Knowlton, Georgeson & Company and The Financial Relations Board. He served as Illinois deputy press secretary for Walter Mondale's 1984 presidential campaign.

Maier is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute. He serves as a vice president and member of the board of directors of Veterans Park Conservancy, a non-profit community public/private partnership established to honor our nation's veterans and dedicated to the enhancement and preservation of four hundred acres of public land in West Los Angeles. He also serves on the board of the Colony Theater Company, located at the Burbank Media Center.

Maier holds bachelor and master of philosophy degrees from Ohio University and has completed course work toward a Ph.D. in philosophy at DePaul University. He served on the adjunct faculties of DePaul and Loyola University in Chicago and is a graduate of New York University's Graduate School of Business Administration's Careers in Business program.
